10 Positive Affirmations for Women

Positive affirmations are a great way to channel positive thoughts and energy into your life. And with the new school year and fall here I’ve been revamping my morning routine. Part of that morning routine is my getting up and washing my face with  Clean and Clear Face Wash and Neutrogena face wipes from Rite Aid. And then I go to my positive affirmations. And I have come up with a handful of positive affirmations so I wanted to share some of my affirmations and ways you can come up with your own. These can be empowering and add more optimism to your attitude along with confidence.

What is an affirmation?

A positive affirmation is a mantra or short phrase meant to change your thought process, strengthen a belief, and add confidence. It works best when they are written down and hung in a place for you to see and repeat often. I have some free printables below to help you with that.

10 positive affirmations:

These are some affirmations I have used. Feel free to customize them, shorten them, or lengthen them for yourself. These are some examples for you to come up with your own.

  1. I am strong. My body is strong. I am strong enough to overcome this challenge.
  2. I am enough. I am enough for others, I am enough for God, I am enough even in my imperfection, I am enough.
  3. I am valuable. No matter how small, I am contributing, I am valuable.
  4. I am in charge of my own future and feelings. And I am choosing happiness.
  5. I am happy with my life. It isn’t perfect but it is full of happy moments.
  6. I can be happy for others joys. I love my own life enough to be able to appreciate others joys too. Envy does not rule me.
  7. I love my body. It is my vessel. It allows me to live and I am grateful for it.
  8. I am grateful. I know that what I have it beautiful no matter how big or small.
  9. I am good. I may make mistakes. But I am not my mistakes. I have good intentions. I try to do good when I can.
  10. I see the good in others. I know I am not perfect, so I do not expect others to be perfect.
  11. I am beautiful.

How to create your own affirmations:

  1. The first step is to identify what you are trying to improve. Perhaps think of the negative self-talk you are struggling with and then reverse it.
  2. Start with the phrase, “I am..” and keep going from there writing the opposite of the words your struggle with. Focus on empowering words.
  3. Expand if you want to.
  4. Write this positive affirmation in a place you will see it often and repeat out loud daily. I have a blank one for you to write your own down below.

A fun way to do positive affirmations:

Print off the following affirmation strips that I have made for you below in the free printable section. Then tape them to items you use every day. Then when you use the items you will be reminded of these affirmations. For example, I printed mine and taped them to some Clean and Clear Face Wash and Neutrogena face wipes from Rite Aid. Who wouldn’t want a reminder of how awesome they are while washing their face? Ha! I also threw in a couple fun ones too.
