CARROT VASES
WHAT YOU NEED
- Vases of different shapes and sizes – I used six and found them at a thrift store for under a $1 a piece
- Orange acrylic paint
- White acrylic paint
- medium paint brush
- Real or Faux greenery – I purchased mine from
- (OPTIONAL) Newspaper to put under the paint so you do not drip on your surface
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Mix about a quarter of white and orange paint together to create a lighter orange color.
- Take your vases and start painting the outline of the carrot using the mixed orange paint.
- Fill in the carrot with the mixed orange. Allow 10 min to dry.
- Next take the regular orange and use it to add a little contrast to the lighter orange by adding stripes along the carrot. Let dry for 10 min.
- Stick the greenery in the vases for the tops of the carrots and that’s it! So easy! Just make sure to wash out your paintbrush.
