The LDS Primary Theme this year is Choose The Right. A couple years ago I was able to serve in the Primary and loved finding resources for sharing time and teaching our little ones. Even as a parent, I like to know what my littles are learning. Here are a few resources, including an app, for learning the Primary Songs as well as a free Choose the Right coloring page.
Primary is the meeting in the Mormon church for children. Want to learn more about what primary is? Click here.
If you’re looking for a resource to use during the week to reinforce your children’s Sunday lessons, I wanted to share the LDS Animated App
. It’s an app that plays Primary songs with an animated video to show your children what the lyrics are talking about. It also has the captions so your readers can follow along and learn the songs with ease.
Some other features I loved was that each song was in four different languages! It also has characters that fit different nationalities. Currently, there are two free songs and the rest are only .99 cents. You can also buy a bundle of five videos for $3.99.
If you hop over to the website for the app, you can find corresponding printables perfect for using as a teaching aid! Soon, they will also feature Book of Mormon stories on the app too!
If you would like to see the Sharing Time messages for each month you can find them here.

Going along with the Choose the Right theme, I created this coloring page for you to use for your individual use or in Primary. Print this coloring page by holding down the right side of your mouse so a menu comes up. Save the file. From here, open the file where you saved it on your computer and once again right click. Select print. On the print preview there will be ways to adjust sizing and copy amounts.
I made two different ones, one for senior and one for junior, because I remember how different the age groups are. So here is a CTR maze and a CTR coloring page.
For the maze you could make a game that you cover certain parts of the maze with strips of black construction paper. And then write a scripture with a white out marker. In order for them to remove the strip they have to look up the scripture. This symbolizes them turning to God when they need to know the right way.
