We recently had a trail mix bar at our Adventure Playdate event. Having trail mix is such a fun snack that I wanted to share some custom trail mix recipes you can easily make yourself and your family. Trail mix is great for hiking, swim days, road trips, and just everyday snacking. Here’s 5 delicious trail mix recipes perfect for customizing your snacks on your adventures.
For the Health Nut
(from The Healthy Maven)
3/4 cup raw pecans
3/4 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup unsweetened, unsulfured cherries
1/2 cup unsweetened, unsulfured raisins
1/2 cup chopped 82% dark chocolate
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
For the Cereal Fan

1 cup roasted soy nuts
