“Seasons Painting”

With six kids and full journey of changes along the way, I have found we move through many seasons of life. Sometimes we plant the seeds with the sun peeking from the clouds like spring. Sometimes we enjoy the warmth and growth of life. The world is vibrant like summer. Sometimes we harvest our well-earned fruits and let go releasing what we need to continue to grow. And sometimes we need to rest. The world may feel cold and bleak or wrapped in a warm blanket. But from what I’ve learned is all of these seasons are needed and important.

We aren’t meant to work constantly. Rest is invaluable. Even the bleak cold days help us remember how wonderful the warmth is. I am watching my seasons of infants in the rear-view mirror. And my oldest is about to graduate. For the first time in 18 years, I don’t have a child at home with me. This is a new spring season for me. And this painting marks one of my first art pieces (of many to come) in this new season of life with me. Thank you for being apart of this season with me.
