This Art Club is a place for fun and friendship. All children welcome. What will the club be like? Each child will be greeted with a smile, passport for the club, and “get to know you” activity. We will then dive into our art adventures each day! At the end of each class there will be optional home projects. And on the last day we will have a little art party!
We live in a world of constant stimulation and screens. Let’s detach and make art happen! The Canary Art Club will give your child a boost of awesome interactive creative inspiration for the summer. Each class will introduce mediums, art education with your child leaving with optional projects for home. This is perfect exposure or for budding artists to get a taste of different mediums and styles.
The Canary Art Club is suitable for ages 4-16 age old. The syllabus has been adapted for this age with optional modified projects according to level and maturity.

CLASSES:
Summer Kickoff Art Kids DAY Camp
June 3rd 10:00-12:00
*ONE DAY CAMP
Say “good day sunshine” and kickoff summer with some artsy fun. We’ll decorate sunglasses, suncatchers, bird feeders, and more.

MAGICAL ART CAMP
Magical Art Camp – June 23, 24, & 25 mornings 10:00-12:00
*THREE DAY CAMP
Ages 5-12 recommended
Bippity boppity boo! Let’s make magic and art too!! Come create art and crafts with dragons, fairies and all things that sparkle. Of course we will make magic wands. Everyday we will create magical projects and explore art basics and mediums.

ADVENTURE ART CLUB
July 8, 9, & 10 afternoons 1:30-3:30
*THREE DAY CAMP
Ages 5-12 recommended
Come on an adventure, an Art Adventure! ! Come create art and crafts with knights, jungles, and pirate maps. Create outside under the sun one day. Everyday we will create crafts based on adventure and explore art basics and mediums.

COLOR, LINE, & SHAPE ART CAMP
July 13, 14, & 15th afternoon 1:30 -3:30
*THREE DAY CAMP
Ages 5-12 recommended
Oh no! The colors, shapes, and lines have disappeared! Let’s go on a hunt to bring them back. Enjoy days of learning the color wheel, color mixing, line work, shape identification and more bright themed crafts.

UNDER THE SEA ART CLUB
July 15, 16, & 17 mornings 10:00-12:00

Ages 5-12 recommended
Dive into art with the Under the Sea Art Club. Come create art and crafts based on the ocean, sea life, and a mermaid or two. One craft will include water and salt! Everyday we will create crafts based on the ocean and explore art basics and mediums.

Soak up the Sun Art Kids DAY Camp
July 23rd 10:00-12:00
*THREE DAY CAMP
As summer is ending come soak up the last bit of break. Explore outside making crafts under the sun inspired by the sun, nature and water. the first day make sunshine inspired crafts. Go on a nature walk talking about shapes and colors in nature and then collect items to make a collage. On the last day come with a swimsuit. We spend the last 45 min on the last day making water crafts and playing outside with water.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Natashia McLean is a published freelance creative. She also teaches weekly art classes. Her favorite mediums are ink and acrylic paint. But through her career she has learned many artistic skills such as calligraphy, linework, photography, adobe suites, graphic design and more. As a local influencer, artist, event coordinator and social media marketer, Natashia has been able to use her skills as an artist to support her family and speak at various national conferences.
Natashia is the mother of six children ages 5 -17. Through the years Natashia has shared her love of creativity with her children. Many of them draw and create constantly throughout the day. Because of their love while creating, Natashia has created this Art Club to spread creativity and inspire other future artists and creatives.
