I am really excited to share an upcoming event that I will be co-hosting here in Provo, called Create in the Park. This is an event for anyone including families at one of my favorite parks, Bicentennial Park. If you have never been to this park let me tell you why it is my favorite.
This park is built on an old farm, so it is huge! There is tons of grass and trees. There is a really nice playground along with a duck pond, bridge, and nature walk complete with board walk. I’ve included some photos below of the park. It really is a beautiful and magical place.
So for the event we are inviting everyone to bring a blanket and a current project to work on. Or I will be providing coloring pages and crayons for anyone to color their heart out. Even if you don’t want to be creative you can just come to enjoy the spring weather.
We will also have goodie bags for the first 30 families, raffles, treats, and more! And I will be doing a basic drawing demo and class at the event as well! But my favorite part of the event is we are collecting items for Children Miracle Networks. We are collecting the following:
Rattles
Barbies
Lego Sets
Superheros
So for anyone local come, enjoy this event put on by myself and Salt Sky Utah. The event is June 6th from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Go claim your FREE ticket on our eventbrite page so we can keep track of who is coming and so you get a reminder too.
We are so excited to get outside, enjoy creativity, and most of all spending time with others giving for a cause. We hope to see you there.
