I recently posted about places to play in water in Utah County. Today I’d like to tell you about a watery place to play for the more adventurous! SeaQuest Interactive Aquarium  in Layton is a downright blast. Our family had the chance to go a few weeks ago and we were delighted by the uniqueness of this aquarium.

Until you can go to SeaQuest, I’ve created a fun printable Sea Scavenger Hunt that you can color and search carefully for all the elements of the ocean. You can find that printable and the end of this post.

One of our favorite things we did at Seaquest was getting a pedicure from a fish? The Doctor fish were happy for a chance to nibble away the dead skin off our feet. Fair warning: it does tickle! While we were there we were able to get our own fish pedicures. My kids all got a chance to try it and half of the kids loved it! It’s definitely an experience to try!

My three year-old was absolutely enchanted by the REAL mermaid at Seaquest. She could’ve sat and chatted her ear off all day. Other fun activties we were able to do is sit and hold real parakeets and other awesome birds. you can buy bird feed and go in the large cages with the birds. Seaquest also has a bird show as well as tons of tanks of fish! My boys also really enjoyed the lizards and other animals. If you are located near them be sure to try out Sea Quest Aquarium. And until you can go check out this sea scavenger hunt from my recent summer kickoff party!
