Here, on my blog I have been sharing my life and experiences and have been grateful to be able to share uplifting life lessons I have learned. In turn, I am often uplifted by social media posts and the creativity of others. So many of you are so courageous and creative. Your stories I read, blogger or not, make me smile and see joy. I learn from you. It really is an inspiration in my own life and even inspires this blog.
Canary Jane is about sharing the light in life and inspiring creativity. So with the start of the year I wanted to open up my blog to guest posts for anyone, blogger, writer, woman or mother. Others experiences add so much to my own. And I would love to share others wisdom here to do just what I have always strived to do, share light and inspire creativity. HOW DO I SUBMIT?
Fill out the form above. No need to submit the entire guest post until approved.
WHAT ARE REQUIREMENTS FOR A GUEST POST?
After we have emailed you and arranged a deadline for your guest post, each submission should include text for the blog post with a minimum of 300 words with a maximum of 1500 words. 3-5 images minimum should be included at 1200 pixels. Posts should be written with mostly correct grammar and no profanity. Content should be appropriate for the general masses. Depending on your post idea there may be some flexibility on these requirements. And if you are sharing an anonymous post or do not have photos we may provide some.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER I SUBMIT?
We will email you within one week or less if you are approved or denied. If approved we will set up a posting date deadline and send more details.
WILL EVERY POST BE APPROVED?
We wish we could share every story and post but at this time we cannot approve every request. If your post is within the requirements and within the categories there a good chance it will be approved.
CAN I PROMOTE MY BUISNESS OR WEBSITE IN THE POST?
Absolutely! Please share your own website and social channels. And include an intro at the beginning. For brands there may be a promotional fee depending on the content. And we do not use “do follow” links for paid collaborations.
WILL YOU SHARE MY CONTENT ON YOUR SOCIAL CHANNELS?
Yes. I would love to spread the word about your website or brand if applicable. I cannot guarantee I will share your photo on my instagram feed for branding purposes but I will tag and mention you in a post or share your photo on an Instastories as well as my other social channels.
